PIUSI was established in 1953 as a pump manufacturer. Its aim has always been to offer solutions and not simply a product and this has stimulated research and design in specific fields such as:

fuel transfer and measurement (FUEL)
lubricant transfer and measurement (OIL)
pumps amìnd compressors for agriculture (PTO)
DEF dispenging system

Today, PIUSI has a 17000 yd² new and modern industrial indoor facility, spread across a 36000 yd² area.

PIUSI uses a certified Quality System for control of its design and production processes, the latest production equipment, a well-stocked and efficient warehouse together with an advanced organisational system for managing all the company activities and, in particular, a team of trained qualified persons.

HISTORY
1953 - PIUSI has been created by Mr. Varini.
The company started its activity producing agricultural equipments with the name OMAA - "Officina Meccanica Applicazioni Agricole".
1970 - Developed PTO system applied to pump water and produced compressed air.
1980 - First diesel pump designed and produced by PIUSI.
1985 - First manual nozzle designed and produced by PIUSI, enter into the market with the first diesel dispensing station for drum and small tank.
1990 - Designed and developed the first digital oil meter.
1996 - Developed the first mechanical meter for diesel fuel and the first digital meter for diesel fuel (MC30).
Also developed the station CUBE and SERVICE for the private dispensing of diesel fuel.
1996 - Designed and developed the MCO system to manage the oil dispensing by many dispensing points, with the possibility to link the PC and the development of the relevant software.
1998 - PIUSI has been certified with ISO 9001.
2001 - Produced the first electric oil gear pump.
2003 - Designed and developed SelfService system to manage the dispensing of diesel fuel with development of the relevant software for PC.
2005 - Piusi developed a full range of products for DEF dispensing, because of Euro4 "The emission standard for vehicles" that was introduced in the European Community in 2005.
Piusi is the leader in Europe of this sector.
2009 - established PIUSI USA Inc., FORT LAUDERDALE, USA.
